Republic Day Celebration 2021

Today is a national holiday as well as Seminary holiday for brothers. It was also the feast of St. Timothy and Titus. In the celebration of the Holy Eucharist the main celebrant was Rev. Fr. Jude Joby. After the mass, as usual we gathered at the terrace for a symbolic parade and flag hoisting. Rev. Fr. George Stephen unfurled the tricolour and exhorted all to become responsible citizens. Br. Preetam Baxla spoke on the meaning and the implication of such celebration. Br. Mukesh Tirkey of the II year theology who was the M.C., thanked everyone for participating in the celebration enthusiastically. Sweets were distributed at the end of the celebration. The Brothers enjoyed a friendly cricket match on this day.
