Farewell to Deacons

If said, that December 06 had been a day of ‘sorrow and joy’ it would not be inaccurate because this was the day of bidding farewell to our loving Deacons. On this day the holy Eucharist was celebrated at 06:30 a.m. In his moving homily the Rev. Fr. Rector exhorting the Deacons said that they were chosen to go and bear fruit just as the Apostles were commissioned by Jesus. The day was special for everyone. The stage programme that was prepared in the evening in honour of the Deacons was heart touching and memorable one.
