Christmas Vigil & Nativity of the Lord 2020

Updated: Jan 26, 2023

We had the festal mass at the St. Joseph’s Cathedral. The holy mass was at 08:00 a.m. and the main celebrant was Rev. Fr. Ronald Tellis. Many other fathers concelebrated. Fr. Rector in his homily exhorted the gathering to celebrate the Christmas meaningfully in the midst of the pandemic developments. In the evening of the same day there was an informal get-together in the refectory where all enjoyed wishing one another with carols and some games. The delicious festal dinner culminated the gathering.

On the previous day, the preparations had culminated. At 10:00 p.m. the celebration of Christmas vigil began with the Christmas Carols, followed by Vigil Mass at 11:30 p.m. The mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. A. Sebastian and concelebrated by the members of the Seminary staff. After the Vigil mass all gathered in the refectory in order to share the Christmas joy.
